Issue 6U

Work carried out:

• Fully Recapped
• Power connector replaced
• Audio mod fitted
• Jailbar mod to remove jailbars visible on the RGB screen. Picture now lovely and sharp
• Case, keyboard, PCB and edge connector have all been deep cleaned
• New keyboard membrane
• Keys have been hand polished.
• New 2amp regulator fitted
• New feet on base unit

It doesn’t come with a power supply but you can get one on eBay or Amazon quite cheaply.

We’ve also included some cassette games, none of which have been tested though as we find loading the games through a cart and SD card on the expansion port or using a Max-Duino much better

We’ve tested the machine with diagnostics ROMs for several hours.  We’ve also tested the machine with a combination of 48k and 128k games and demos for a couple of hours and it works flawlessly.

This is another nice 128k Toastrack ZX Spectrum.  Despite it’s age it’s in great condition and just needed repairing and a little TLC to bring it back to its former glory.
