Refurbished Sinclair ZX Spectrum +2 (Grey) with PSU

Thanks for looking at our listing for this ZX Spectrum +2 (Grey)  computer.

We have carried out the following work:

• Replaced the Z-80 CPU (was faulty)
• Replaced one RAM chip (was faulty)
• Replaced the +5v regulator with a DC-DC board so that it runs cooler
• Heatsink applied to the ULA
• Serviced the cassette deck, cleaned and lubricated the mechanism, checked the pause mechanism for functionality (these break with use) and changed the belts
• Cleaned the cases inside and out
• Added 4 new 3D printed feet!

We have tested the functionality of this ZX Spectrum +2 with DIagROM and the machine works flawlessly.  We have made sure to test the functionality of the CPU’s /M1 line which is used with some plug-in peripherals – it works fine.  We have tested the cassette loading and saving data.

This case has a few marks (see the pictures) but it works beautifully.

It comes with a genuine Spectrum +2 PSU which has been recapped.
