Refurbished Sinclair ZX Spectrum +2a (Black) with PSU

Thanks for looking at our listing for this ZXSpectrum +2a (Black)  computer.

We have carried out the following work:

• Replaced the Z-80 CPU (was faulty)
• Recapped the motherboard with new, good quality aluminium electrolytic capacitors
• Serviced the cassette deck, cleaned and lubricated the mechanism, checked the pause mechanism for functionality (these break with use) and changed the belts
• Recapped the power supply with good quality aluminium electrolytic capacitors and tested the output with an electronic load tester.
• Cleaned the cases inside and out

We have tested the functionality of this ZX Spectrum with DiagROM and the machine works flawlessly.  We have made sure to test the functionality of the CPU’s /M1 line which is used with some plug-in peripherals – it works fine.  We have tested the cassette loading and saving data.

This case is in very good condition for it’s age (see the pictures) and it works beautifully.
