We have had a burning interest in 80’s and 90’s computers having lived through that era and having owned most of the micros that came along in those decades.

We started RudeDog Retros to bring back to life those great computers from the 80’s and 90’s – Commodore 16 / Plus 4’s, 64’s, 128’s, Vic 20’s and of course the Amiga! – The Atari 8 bit machines – the 65 / 130 / 800XE and XL’s – the ST and STe – The Sinclair ZX-81, Spectrum and QL – and everything in between those!

We can repair just about anything – we have 20+ years of board level repair and diagnostics experience, and everything we do is fuelled by our passion for these old 8 and 16 bit machines.

We have a fully fitted out workshop with all the diagnostic tools to carry out repairs on your cherished old micros.

We also design and build new computer addons – SD card interfaces, Power Supply savers and recreated power supplies for C64 and Amiga computers using new, more highly efficient power supply modules.

We also stock spares for a good number of old machines, and we will be adding more all the time.

We buy and sell old micros, refurbishing them and performing modifications to bring them up to date so that they will continue to work for many more years to come.  We can also perform these modifications for you – replacing old electrolytic capacitors, audio and video upgrades to allow you to use these machines on new flat panel televisions, and replacing old voltage regulators inside them so that they will run cooler and more stable.
